Title: Karate-do Nyumon

Opinion: An interesting overview of basic techniques. Of particular note the need to keep both feet pointing forward in Zenkutsu-Dachi (often not done by students), suggested front stance length of 75cm and the reiteration of the use of fudo-dachi. Once again, the ten no kata series is well worth reviewing to remind the reader of some basics many of us forget to practice. I have found this publication to be more valuable as a recent read than when I first reviewed it, always find some small element of interest in it. It is noteworthy that the author refers to his 'style' as unnamed although some others refer to it as Shotokan.
