| Opinion: | A well laid out and easy to follow book. Ideal for the kyu grade student. The use of foot placements on the embusen, view top down, is easy to follow and makes basic learning of the kata easy from the book. The description of each technique is also useful as a means of improving the detail of ones kata although the student should be aware that not all Shotokan dojos follow this interpretation to the letter. | ||
